About the market
The Food Hub Market is a student-led, not-for-profit community space offering affordable grocery essentials while fostering social connection on the UBC Vancouver Campus. The Market is dedicated to improving access to affordable and culturally diverse grocery staples that support student food security and meet everyday student needs in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
The space also provides hands-on food skills workshops, community events and educational outreach on food literacy and nutrition. These programs promote food literacy and food skills, help students navigate available food security resources, and strengthen student community connections.
Visit the Food Hub Market on the main floor of the Centre for Interactive Research in Sustainability (CIRS Building, 2260 West Mall).

Since then, the market has re-opened under a student-led governance model with staff support from the Health Equity, Promotion and Education unit.
