About Arts Peer Academic Coaches

Arts Peer Academic Coaches are friendly, inclusive, and knowledgeable upper-year students who know what it’s like to learn and study in UBC Arts. They share a common goal of supporting other students succeed by coaching their peers to meet their academic goals. They can provide other students with strategies and resources to improve their academic experience.

Who can apply?

Upper-year undergraduate Arts students who are in good academic standing are invited to apply for the role. 

There are 16 positions available each year.

If you require accommodations

The Peer Programs Program Advisors would like to recognize that being able to participate in student leadership opportunities is a privilege. The weekly commitment for each Peer Program varies in length but may not be possible for some students who need accommodations based on chronic health conditions, disabilities, mental health, and/or other lived experiences.

Time commitment
