411 Seniors Centre Society Project aims to connect UBC student volunteers and seniors through combining the practice of storytelling with musical performance. For the performance, each student will work with a senior in order to assist the seniors in sharing their stories. The society, in collaboration with a Project Leader and two Student Leaders, is looking for 6-8 UBC student volunteers who would like to be a part of this project. During the course of the project, two rehearsals will take place, followed by the actual performance. Our main goal is to foster self-expression through art by connecting older adults at the 411 Seniors Centre Society with UBC student volunteers.
