The Bloom Group: Cordova House [FULL]

About the project

This project seeks to give voice to residents living at Cordova House, which offers a stable home and access to a range of support services for 66 residents in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.

Over the course of the project, UBC student volunteers will work closely with Cordova House residents to explore their perspective of community through meaningful discussion and artistic expression.

The project will see Cordova House residents engage in conversation about what makes a healthy community, and capture their perspectives of community using photography. A number of photos, selected by residents with the support of UBC students, will be put on display at Cordova House.
