The Lookout Housing Health Society provides housing and support services for adults with low to no income who cope with a wide variety of challenges including mental illness, addictions, chronic health conditions (including HIV/AIDS), physical disabilities, social dysfunctions and more.
We will be supporting the society with operational tasks such as working in the kitchen, sorting donations, cleaning people’s rooms, painting, etc. Tasks are subjected to change depending on the weather.
To ensure safety concerns that may arise, everyone will work paired up with a volunteer. This is a project that will benefit the society from the support of you and will increase you knowledge of current economic and social challenges in the community.
