Options Community Services Society [FULL]

About the project

Students will have the opportunity to unleash their creativity in this fun and rewarding multimedia project!  They will work as a team to write, perform, film and edit videos for Options Community Services Society, a non-profit registered charity providing social services in Surrey, Delta, White Rock, and Langley.  These videos will provide fresh resources for their educational program on healthy relationships and boundaries for youth with autism and developmental disabilities.  These resources will support the existing program curriculum developed by the Options Team.

This three-day project will involve two days of writing / filming / editing which are to take place on campus.  The third day will take place at Options Community Services Society in Surrey where the students will share the final videos with the staff.  Students will have the opportunity to help finalize scripts based on content provided by Options.  Creativity and fresh ideas are welcome!  Past groups created interview-style videos, top-ten videos and other formats to communicate course messaging.
