Health and Wellbeing

Student Health Service

Student Health Services is open and operating regular hours. Appointments can be booked by calling 604 822 7011 or booked through the online form. You can arrange a virtual (video) appointment or phone appointment. 

British Columbia has declared a state of emergency and a public health emergency – as such, Student Health Service is following public health directives and is not offering in-person appointments where possible.

Nurse on Campus

Nurse on campus has been cancelled until further notice.

Counselling Services

All Counselling Services appointments are now being offered by phone. Please call 604 822 3811 to schedule an appointment, available Monday to Friday. You can also access 24/7 support available for UBC students.

Group counselling

All in-person intensive group programs have been suspended until further notice. 

See online group counselling programs available for you during this time. You do not need a referral to join any of the programs.

Wellness Centre

The Wellness Centre welcomes you online while the physical Wellness Centre remains closed until further notice. Self-enrol online to the Wellness Centre Canvas for a space to discuss topics relevant to your wellbeing, wherever you are. Open to all UBC students. 

Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Office (SVPRO)

The SVPRO Office is now closed for in-person service, but will continue to deliver service online or over the phone. 

If you have a scheduled appointment, the SVPRO Office will contact you to arrange a phone or online meeting.

If you have questions about support or access, please call 604 822 1588 on weekdays during 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, or email svpro.vancouver@ubc.ca to connect with an SVPRO specialist. 

AMS Sexual Assault Support Centre (SASC)

The SASC is now offering limited in-person support. For more information on how to access support and the SASC’s hours of operations, please visit the SASC services.

Enrolment Services Advising

Enrolment Services will not be providing in-person services until further notice. 

Undergraduate students: Email your Enrolment Services Advisor directly. To find their contact information, log in to your Student Services Centre (SSC) and select "UBC Contacts" from Personal Info.

All other students: Call 604 822 9836 or submit your question online.

International Student Advising

International Student Advising is not providing in-person services at this time.

Contact International Student Advising during regular advising hours through a Zoom session or emailing isa@students.ubc.ca with your student number. Find step-by-step instructions on how to use Zoom.

UBC Libraries

All UBC libraries on the Vancouver and Okanagan campuses are now closed until further notice. The library continues to provide access to electronic resources and librarian support for research, teaching, and learning.

Centre for Accessibility

The Centre for Accessibility is not currently providing in-person service. Advising appointments will be held over the phone or Skype. 

To book an appointment, please email your Accessibility Advisor directly or contact info.accessibility@ubc.ca.

Centre for Community Engaged Learning

The Centre will not be providing in-person services or events until further notice.

Centre for Student Involvement and Careers (CSI&C)

The CSI&C is not providing in-person services or events until further notice. Services such as career advising and career-building workshops have transitioned to online delivery.

For mail and parcels that cannot be delivered, Campus Mail is now offering on-site pickup.

The AMS Nest is now open Monday to Friday with most businesses reopened.

The Bookstore is now open Monday to Friday.

UBC Parking

UBC Parking is charging hourly parking rates. If you have a permit, there are no changes.
