Iser STEIMAN Memorial Scholarship in Translation

A scholarship of $300 is in memory of Iser Steiman, a Vancouver physician who translated Russian texts, including biographies and autobiographies as well as significant medical articles and books. The scholarship is awarded on the recommendation of the Department of Creative Writing to a student who has shown ability in the art of translation. The candidate's financial circumstances may also be considered.
