Earle BIRNEY Scholarship in Creative Writing

A $3,900 scholarship has been endowed by friends, colleagues and the Province of British Columbia to honour Earle Birney and to recognize his contribution to Canadian Literature. The award is offered to a student in the Department of Creative Writing and is made on the recommendation of the Department. In the case of graduate students, the award is made in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
