Gordon H. WOODWARD Memorial Scholarship

A scholarship of $150 has been endowed by friends in memory of Gordon H. Woodward who, during the two decades before his death in 1966, contributed fiction to the best periodicals in Canada, England, Australia and the United States, and whose dedication to writing as an art is well-known here and abroad. It is awarded by the Department of Creative Writing to a student with a good academic record who has shown ability and promise in the writing of fiction.
