John N. SANDNESS Prize

A book prize valued at $400 has been endowed in memory of John N. Sandness, who laid the foundations for a program in applied entomology in the Department of Plant Science. It is awarded on the basis of the best insect collection submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements of the course, APBI 327 (Introduction to Entomology), which is cross-listed with BIOL 327 (Introduction to Entomology).
