Gordon Robert SMITH Scholarship

Award descriptionA scholarship of $550 has been endowed in memory of Gordon Robert Smith by Marigold Nurseries Ltd. It is offered to an outstanding student entering second, third or fourth year in the Horticulture major. The award is made on the basis of a demonstrated interest and ability in commercial horticulture as shown by practical work experience in commercial or public horticulture. In the event that two students are considered equal, consideration will be given to the need for financial assistance. The scholarship is awarded on the recommendation of the Scholarship committee within the Faculty of Land and Food Systems.
