Jean and Michael SHAW Scholarship

A $450 scholarship is awarded on the recommendation of the Faculty of Land and Food Systems to a student who has completed at least one year in the Faculty and is proceeding to a higher year in the Faculty. The scholarship was endowed by Dr. Michael Shaw's colleagues and former students in recognition of his distinguished contributions to plant biology in Canada and his leadership as Dean of the Faculty from 1967 to 1975 and Vice President of the University from 1975 to 1983, endeavours in which he was ably supported by his wife Jean.
