John M. YORSTON Memorial Prize

A $550 prize has been endowed in memory of Dr. Yorston (B.Sc. Agr. 1965), whose career with the B.C. Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries was tragically curtailed by an automobile accident. The prize is awarded to an outstanding undergraduate specializing in plant pathology, plant nematology or plant protection or an outstanding graduate student in plant pathology or plant nematology. The award is made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Land and Food Systems or in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
