George KENNEDY Prize in Global Resource Systems

A prize of $500 is offered in recognition of George Kennedy's outstanding contribution to establishing international partnerships with UBC. He was the first Director of the Global Resource Systems Program and the main architect in creating the B.Sc. (Global Resource Systems) degree. The prize is awarded on the recommendation of the Faculty of Land and Food Systems to the student at the head of the graduating class in the B.Sc. (Global Resource Systems) degree.
