John SCHILDROTH Memorial Scholarship

Award descriptionA $1,900 scholarship has been endowed in memory of John Schildroth by family, friends and colleagues at the B.C. Ministry of Agriculture and Lands and at UBC's Faculty of Land and Food Systems for a graduate or undergraduate student with excellent academic standing in the Faculty of Land and Food Systems who has also demonstrated excellence in a range of non-academic fields such as community service, student leadership, volunteerism, and athletic or artistic performance. Preference is given to a graduate student studying food and resource economics, public policy or a related field. The award is made on the recommendation of the Faculty and, in the case of a graduate student, in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
