Richard STACE-SMITH Memorial Scholarship

A $1,450 scholarship has been made available through an endowment established by family and friends in honour of Dr. Richard Stace-Smith, for an undergraduate or graduate student in the Faculty of Land and Food Systems. The award is offered to an outstanding student with a demonstrated interest in or commitment to some aspect of sustainable agri-food systems. In 1999, Dr. Richard Stace-Smith was honoured with the Order of British Columbia for his community leadership in the protection of biodiversity and the conservation of the environment.
