Bit Quill Technologies Award for Women in Computer Science

Awards totalling $2,000 have been made available annually through a gift from Bit Quill Technologies for female students enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in the Department of Computer Science with outstanding academic achievement and demonstrated community service. Bit Quill Technologies is an employee-owned software development services company based in Vancouver. Bit Quill created this award as part of their work to create opportunities for the development of software in Vancouver by supporting the next generation of computer scientists at UBC. These academic awards are made on the recommendation of the Department of Computer Science.
