Allergy shots

UBC Student Health and Wellbeing provides allergy shots, also known as antigen therapy or immunotherapy. This is a prescribed course of injections for allergies diagnosed by an allergist. Allergy shots are a preventive treatment that can help your immune system build up a tolerance to something you’re allergic to. The treatment involves injecting gradually increasing doses of the substance you’re allergic to.
