Jump Start registration and fees

Registration process

  1. SIGN UP ONLINE 

    Complete the Jump Start registration form no later than July 4, 2017. You will require a Campus Wide Login (CWL) to access the form. 
     
  2. PAY THE DEPOSIT

    Pay the non-refundable $100 deposit plus 9.8% tax at time of registration.
  3. PAY FEE BALANCE

    Pay the fee balance no later than July 6, 2017. You will receive an email reminding you to pay the balance of your Jump Start fee: Please ensure you pay the Jump Start fee by logging back on to your account.
  4. PREPARE TO ARRIVE

    Prepare your arrival at UBC by completing these important steps.
  5. WE'LL BE IN TOUCH

    We will be in touch throughout the summer, so please ensure you add orientations.jumpstart@ubc.ca to your safe email list.

Cost and fees

Because of how important Jump Start is to your success at UBC, the program costs are covered by the university. You only pay for your residence room and meals ($829.66 including taxes) during the Jump Start program.

Please note, if you choose to pay your Jump start fees via wire transfer, please email orientations.jumpstart@ubc.ca for instruction on how to do this.

Need to cancel your registration?

If you need to cancel your registration, you may cancel and receive a full refund (minus the non-refundable $100 deposit plus 9.8% tax) prior to July 4, 2017.

No refund will be given if you cancel your registration after that date.
