The 2019 Student Leadership Conference will be on January 12th, 2019.
How do I see the schedule for the day of the conference?
The schedule for the day of the conference is yet to be posted. We are colouring outside our lines this year and have some new and exiciting features in our schedule!
When does registration open?
Registration opens on November 15, 2018.
When does registration close?
Registration will close on January 4, 2019.
How much does it cost?
$42.00 ($40.00 Fee + $2.00 GST) for UBC-affiliated individuals (eg. students, faculty, staff, or alumni), and $63.00 ($60.00 Fee + $3.00 GST) for those not affiliated with UBC. Sponsored delegates will enter their unique group registration code to bypass the payment screen.
How do I register?

I have a group code. Where do I use this?
On the first page of the registration system, there will be an optional section where you can enter your group code. Remember to enter your group registration code in all capitalized letters; the code is case-sensitive.
What if I have two group registration codes from different organizations?
If you have two group registration codes, use one of them when registering and we will arrange a divided invoice for both sponsoring organizations. If you have questions regarding this, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can I share my group registration code with a friend? What if I have two codes?
No, group registration codes are non-transferrable. Each unique code is connected to your name and student number. You must enter this information correctly for the code to apply. If you have two codes, either one of them can be applied to your registration fee (Refer to earlier question).
I have paid my conference fee. How do I select the sessions I would like to attend?
Check your email inbox for instructions on selecting your sessions. If you are unable to find this link, you can also go directly to https://slc.students.ubc.ca/webform/student-leadership-conference-login. You will need to use your email address and the passcode you just created to log in and select your sessions.
My passcode is not working. How do I login to select my sessions?
If your passcode is not working, click the “Forgotten Passcode” link and you will receive an email helping you with this. If you are still unable to login, then please email email@example.com.
There is a session I would like to attend, but it is no longer listed. Am I still able to register for it?
Unfortunately, every session has a limited capacity that fills on a first-come-first-serve basis. Once a session has reached maximum capacity, it will not longer be available as an option for you to select. Take this as an opportunity to try a different session, and other explore new ideas.
I registered for a session, but I would like to select a different one. Am I able to change my session selections?
Unfortunately, once you have completed your registration, you are no longer able to return to your session selection and make changes. If you believe an error has been made, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
I am no longer able to attend. Am I able to request a refund?
Once you have registered for the conference, we are not able to grant you a refund. If this is a unique circumstance, please email email@example.com with your name, student number, and reference number. Requests will be evaluated on an individual basis.
How will I remember my schedule for the day of the conference?
We have you covered! Once you have completed your registration, you will receive a confirmation email detailing your schedule. In addition to this, the sessions you have selected will be included in your welcome package on the back of your nametag. You will be able to pickup your nametag at check-in on the day of the conference.
