I have paid my conference fee. How do I select the sessions I would like to attend?

You will be sent a prompt to customize your schedule within 2-3 business days of submitting your registration. Please visit our registration guide for instructions on how to select your sessions.

There is a session I would like to attend, but it is no longer listed. Am I still able to register for it?

Unfortunately, every session has a limited capacity that fills on a first-come-first-serve basis. Once a session has reached maximum capacity, it will not longer be available as an option for you to select. Take this as an opportunity to try a different session, and other explore new ideas.

I registered for a session, but I would like to select a different one. Am I able to change my session selections?

Once you have RSVPed for a session on Symplicity, you are able to cancel this RSVP and then select a new session.

I am no longer able to attend. Am I able to request a refund?

Once you have registered for the conference, we are not able to grant you a refund. If this is a unique circumstance, please email with your name and student number. Requests will be evaluated on an individual basis.

How will I remember my schedule for the day of the conference?

UBC students: once you customize your schedule on CareersOnline, you will be able to return to CareersOnline at any point to review your session selection.  If you choose not to customize your schedule, you will be able to view the sessions we have selected for you as of Thursday, January 9, 2020.  Regardless, your session schedule and locations will be available in CareersOnline for your reference before and throughout the conference.

Non-UBC students: once you customize your schedule on our Qualtrics form, you will be unable to return to the form to make changes to your registration.  Your schedule, including session locations, will be emailed to you on Thursday, January 9, 2020.  Please plan to have this email available throughout the conference for your reference.
