Why you should go

This is an opportunity for you to engage with the “What now?” question of Reconciliation.


This conversation with Cindy Charleyboy will focus on how our everyday meanings and actions play a role in Reconciliation. The discussion will be based on šxʷʔam̓ət (home), an interactive play performed by an Indigenous and non-Indigenous cast which invites audience members to step in and try to offer ‘solutions’ to the real, tough issues we all face in moving towards Reconciliation.

Doggy De-stress - Valentine’s Day Edition

Why you should go

A sweet pup is the only significant other you’ll need this V-day!


The Arts Undergraduate Society Health and Wellness Committee has got your back this February 14th with the ultimate candy-eating/doggo-cuddle sesh. A minimum donation of $5 gets you a care package, candy, photos and cuddles with some Very Good Boys and Girls, and some delicious tea! Slots are full, but they are accepting limited drop-ins at the door.

Biodiversity for Resilient Communities

Why you should go

Free food, and engaging dialogue on biodiversity in urban environments… need I say more?


This event will bring together a network of biodiversity researchers, stewards, SEEDS project participants, and engaged community members for an evening of dialogue and learning to showcase efforts towards enhancing biodiversity for resilient communities here at UBC and beyond. Food will be provided, and spots are limited!

Lunar New Year Celebration at Wesbrook Village

Why you should go

Celebrate the year of the dog with a lion dance, tea tasting, origami, and more.


There will be tons of activities and performances to take in this Saturday, and it’s all free. Highlights include a Youth Pop Dance group, Korean Drumming, and fortune telling. Plus, bring a photo of your dog to display on their Doggy Display Wall!
