She also touches upon the millennial generation’s view on the importance of work-life balance and how it shapes their commitment to the STEM work force.

Through the voices of women from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds, the event explores what it means to be a woman. This special night features dance, rap, song, poetry, improvisation, and powerful words by Vancouver’s emerging and established women artists. This event highlights the diversity, strength and experiences that are told through the power of art.

The UBC Pre-Vet and Animal Welfare club is hosting their 4th annual UBC PAW Animal Welfare Conference. This year's theme will revolve around companion animal welfare and the dynamic relationship between humans and animals. The conference brought out Dr. Clive Wynne from Arizona State University, founder of the Canine Science Collaboratory to speak about his experience with animal welfare. The conference will be a great opportunity to further your network within the animal welfare community. A light lunch will be included. More info.
