Why you should go
Come support a good cause by buying some used books for charity!
DETAILS
The Faculty of Education and Education Library have partnered with United Way to find these used books a new home. There will be a variety of books for sale by donations starting from $1 for paperbacks and $2 for hardcovers. Make sure to bring your own bags as well to take your new books home! There will also be live entertainment and refreshments for all who drop by.

UBC Theatre: Timothy Findley’s The Wars
Why you should go
Immerse yourself deep inside the mind of a Canadian soldier in World War I.
DETAILS
Based on Timothy Findley's 1977 novel and adapted by Dennis Garnhum, The Wars tells the story of Robert Ross, who trades his comfortable Canadian life for trenches in WWI. This play, staged by the BFA graduating class of 2020 and directed by Lois Anderson, plunges the audience into the mind of the soldier battling the reality of war. More info.

Water Wars
Why you should go
Escape from the cold and dip into the pool to compete in a variety of challenges!
DETAILS
UBC Recreation is back with another way to relieve some of that end-of-semester stress. Grab 5 to 7 of your friends and get ready to compete with others at the pool in this year’s Water Wars. Starting off with opening ceremonies, the teams will participate in various games in a round-robin style tournament. Registration closes on Nov 12 at 5:00 pm. More info.
