Bike to Work (or School) week is back and ready to celebrate all cyclists on campus! There will be a celebration station midway through the week, where you can get a free tune-up, pick up some resources, and be entered into a prize draw. Whether you’re biking for school or work—come out and meet fellow cyclists.

You can either call or drop in to make an appointment to fit your schedule’s needs.

2019 Annual UBC Chan Gunn Lecture

The Annual Chan Gunn lecture invites speakers to UBC to discuss issues related to IMS and neuropathic pain. You will have the opportunity to listen to specialists from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and ask them questions afterwards. Make sure to come prepared for a night of learning, accompanied with light refreshments.

The Great Trek Festival

Why you should go

Be a part of the inaugural Great Trek Festival—a new event which celebrates UBC’s diverse campus history. 

DETAILS

The Great Trek is a new festival that celebrates the tradition of student leadership and advocacy at UBC, and recognizes the rich history of the Musqueam people. This new event will bring together the stories of the original Great Trek of 1922 that inspired the construction of UBC’s Vancouver campus and the Musqueam people, whose traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory the campus has been built upon. A large celebration at University Plaza will bring together the Fall Classic Run, music, and traditional Musqueam performances and food to celebrate our interwoven histories.
