Why you should go

Free food! Plus, learn about what goes on behind-the-scenes of the food we love to eat on campus. 


Drop by between classes and learn more about the people behind the food on campus and where it comes from. There will be a number of vendors around to educate you on food sustainability and ethical business practices. Stick around for a live cooking demo from chef Nick Mateus, who will provide samples and recipes to the audience.

Why you should go

If you’re graduating this year (or soon!) this is a chance to learn about your post-undergrad academic options.


This year, the event will feature over 65 schools from within Canada and abroad, so there’s a good chance you’ll find something that interests you! Even if you’re not sure grad school is for you, it can be worth it just to learn about options that are out there.

Day of the LongBoat

Why you should go

A fall UBC classic that you don’t want to miss!


The Day of the LongBoat is a must-see before you graduate. If you missed the September 16th registration deadline do not fret—being a spectator is just as exciting! This signature UBC event will have teams paddling and racing towards the finish line. You can still be part of the fun on land, with games and music playing all weekend long. Come out to cheer on your friends, and make some new ones while you’re at it!
