Get ready to roll up to UBC Bike Rave

On a campus as big and diverse as UBC, there are cool and interesting things happening all the time. It’s the final month of the term, so now is the time to take advantage of all those unique opportunities. UBC Bike Rave is a great place to start!

What’s a bike rave?

It’s a ton of fun! Partiers bike around campus with flashing lights, a blasting party soundtrack, and even crazy costumes (if you want), creating a totally unique mobile party. It’s an event like nothing else, and a great opportunity to try something completely different.

Bike Rave is run by Party4Health, an organization that promotes a new kind of partying that’s good for your health, social life, and overall happiness. They run events to create sober party environments—no drugs or alcohol, just good times with positive, energetic people!

UBC is the only university with its own dedicated Bike Rave (this is its 5th year running!), but other bike raves are super popular around Vancouver and all over Canada.

Who can go?

Anyone and everyone, including you! You don’t even need a bike. Come join in the fun with rollerblades, skateboards, scooters, or even your own two feet (also, probably hoverboards).

If you’re joining without wheels, take advantage of the first-ever Dance Break, a pop-up dance party held at the final Bike Rave stop. Dance Break is a related but separate event, open to anyone, even if they didn’t join in the Rave.

Hang out with great people at the Bike Rave

Why should I go?

It’s an opportunity to experience something entirely new! You’ll get to meet new people, blow off steam, appreciate our beautiful campus in a different way, and get active in a positive, healthy, and safe environment.

Make it your own—whether or not you wear a costume, bring a friend, or know how to ride a bike, Bike Rave is a 100% welcoming and enthusiastic community.

Embrace the natural high of a remarkable party experience!
