The Centre for Community Engaged Learning funds student-led projects who partner with BC-based community organizations. Grants are made available so you can address community priorities through projects that you design and execute. Build on your experience working with community and get creative with what you can do to address community needs.
About community projects
Connect to Community Grant
Grant Amount: $200 – $1,500
Eligibility: Undergraduate and graduate (masters) students.
What is Funded: Introductory, trial, or novel project in partnership with a BC- based community organization.
Chapman and Innovation Grants
Grant Amount: $1,500 – $10,000
Eligibility: Undergraduate and graduate (masters) students.
What is Funded: Innovative or creative approaches to a community issue in partnership with a BC-based community organization
Community grants for international students
The Centre for Community Engaged Learning Grants have funds designated for international students to lead projects in partnership with BC-based community organizations. Grants from $200 to $10,000 are available for international students to lead projects that take local action on a global issue.
