About community projects

The Centre for Community Engaged Learning funds student-led projects who partner with BC-based community organizations. Grants are made available so you can address community priorities through projects that you design and execute. Build on your experience working with community and get creative with what you can do to address community needs

Connect to Community Grant


Grant Amount: $200 – $1,500

Eligibility: Undergraduate and graduate (masters) students. 

What is Funded: Introductory, trial, or novel project in partnership with a BC- based community organization.

Chapman and Innovation Grants


Grant Amount: $1,500 – $10,000

Eligibility: Undergraduate and graduate (masters) students. 

What is Funded: Innovative or creative approaches to a community issue in partnership with a BC-based community organization
