The Centre for Community Engaged Learning funds student-led projects that partner with BC-based community organizations. Grants are made available so you can help address community priorities through projects that you design and execute. Build on your experience working with the community and get creative with what you can do to address community needs.
About community projects
Connect to Community Grant
- Grant Amount: $200 to $1,500 CAD
- Eligibility: Undergraduate and graduate (Master's) students
- Funded projects: Introductory, trial, or novel projects in partnership with a BC-based community organization
Chapman and Innovation Grants
- Grant Amount: $1,500 to $10,000 CAD
- Eligibility: Undergraduate and graduate (Master's) students
- Funded projects: Innovative or creative approaches to a community issue in partnership with a BC-based community organization
If you're an international student
The Centre for Community Engaged Learning Grants have funds designated for international students to lead projects in partnership with BC-based community organizations. Grants from $200 to $10,000 are available for international students to lead projects that take local action on a global issue.
If you are an international student applying for one of the grants listed above, simply indicate your status as an international student in the standardized application form found on the respective grant pages.
