Vantage Peer Mentors

About the role

The Vantage Peer Mentors are a group of Vantage College alumni who are passionate about fostering social connections and providing peer support to Vantage One students. Their responsibilities include event-planning, assisting international students with first-year transition, leading communications campaigns, and working closely with Vantage staff and faculty members on student engagement initiatives. The Vantage Peer Mentors also share their UBC experience and connect students with resources and support to help them navigate campus life.

Applications are now extended to Sun, Mar 10, 2024.

Who can apply?

You must be a UBC undergraduate student who has completed the Vantage One Program, or you are scheduled for completion of the program in July 2024.

The Peer Programs Program Advisors would like to recognize that being able to participate in student leadership opportunities is a privilege. The weekly commitment for each Peer Program varies in length but may not be possible for some students who need accommodations based on chronic health conditions, disabilities, mental health, and/or other lived experiences.
