The Brock Commons South Multifaith Prayer and Quiet Contemplation Room is located on the fourth floor of the Brock Commons South building in rooms 4110A and 4001B.
The two prayer rooms are open by drop-in to all students for prayer, quiet contemplation, and reflection. Separate ablution facilities are available in both spaces. Universal washrooms are across the hall from the prayer space.

Prayer room hours
The prayer rooms are available from Monday to Friday at the following times:
- Rooms 4110A and 4110B are open to all genders from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm.
- Room 4110A is open to self-identifying male students from 1:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
- Room 4110B is open to self-identifying female students from 1:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
Room capacity
- Room 4110A has a capacity of 40 to 45 people.
- Room 4110B has a capacity of 20 to 25 people.

How to access the room
You can enter and use the prayer rooms without a UBC card during the building hours from 7:00 am to 8:30 pm.
Reporting a problem about the facilities
If you encounter any issues with a prayer rooms or its use, please report it as soon as possible to the Office of the Vice-President, Students at vpsassist@mail.ubc.ca. Concerns may include cleanliness, damage, lighting, misuse of these facilities, or complaints about other users.
Urgent concerns
In case of fire or emergency evacuation, follow the procedures posted in the rooms. In the event of an incident or concern that requires attention, contact UBC Security by calling 604.822.2222. For emergencies that require an immediate response, call 911.
