Nurse on Campus

Visit a registered nurse for your health concerns. It's confidential, free, and no appointment needed.

About the service

Registered nurses from UBC Student Health Service can give you personalized tips, resources, and health advice. It's confidential, free and there is no appointment needed.

Health themes and topics change every month but you can talk to a Nurse about anything related to your physical, mental, emotional, social or academic wellbeing. Naloxone training is available during Life Building hours. Fentanyl test strips are also available at the Wellness Centre Info Desk and at the Nurse on Campus booths in the Life Building.

If you're on the UBC Vancouver campus, drop by in person to ask questions or get connected to resources for topics like:

  • Managing stress and anxiety
  • Eating healthy
  • Sleeping better
  • Sex and sexual health
  • Relationships
  • Substance use and harm reduction

Before you visit

To visit the nurse in person, please follow all of the following guidelines:

  • Wear a mask.
  • Wash your hands.
  • If you're not feeling well, stay home or call 811 to speak with a nurse.
