UBC Collegia

About UBC Collegia

Are you an incoming first-year commuter student or Indigenous student?

Collegia offers welcoming, lounge-like spaces located across the UBC Vancouver campus, perfect for studying, relaxing, or connecting with your peers between classes. It’s also a community where you can ask questions, get guidance from upper-year students, and build friendships that can support you throughout your time at UBC.

Collegia programs

There are 2 Collegia programs available at the UBC Vancouver campus:

  • First Year UBC Collegia
Available to first-year undergraduate students who don’t live in a UBC residence and have graduated high school within the last 2 years.
  • Šxʷta:təχʷəm
For self-identifying Indigenous graduate and undergraduate students. By registering, you’ll gain access to both the first-year Collegia community, as well as the šxʷta:təχʷəm community.

  • Discover resources and opportunities
Explore your interests through involvement opportunities and student resources, all while building your community at university.
