How to book a space
Requests to book the Global Lounge can be made through the booking request form.
Global Lounge rooms
Media Centre
Large round room with chairs, an AV system that includes a 60″ TV, DVD player, and ability to do PPT presentations, and more.
Room capacity: 40 people (some overflow chairs available)
Resource Centre
Long, rectangular room with 3 tables and 12 chairs, small couch and table area.
Room capacity: 16 people
Lounge Area
An open space with rectangular couch and low tables.
Room capacity: 20 people

- Movable tables and chairs
- Podium and lectern
- Carpet flooring
- Natural light
- Multimedia projector
Cancellation policy
The Global Lounge understands that bookings may need to be cancelled. If you need to cancel your booking, please email the Global lounge (global.lounge@ubc.ca) at least 2 business days in advance.
If you do not cancel your booking in advance, you will receive a warning. A second warning can lead to event organizers losing their Global Lounge booking privileges.
