When you’ll know your registration date
You’ll receive an email about a week before your registration opens to let you know that your registration appointment can be viewed in your Workday account. You’ll be able to register any time between your registration appointment and the course change date, also known as the add/drop deadline.

If you’re a UBC Okanagan student, please view your course registration dates for your campus.
Registration times are listed in the Pacific Time Zone. If you’re registering from a different time zone, make sure you know when registration starts in your location.
Registration exceptions
Certain programs don’t follow the standard registration appointment schedule. If you’re in one of the following programs, find your registration appointment in Workday or your program website for registration times.
- Bachelor of Education (BEd Elementary)
- Bachelor of Education (BEd Middle Years)
- Bachelor of Education (BEd Secondary)
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Doctor of Dental medicine (DMD)
- Juris Doctor (JD)
