About the Every Nation Church

Every Nation is a global family of churches that exist to honour God by establishing Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered, socially responsible churches and campus ministries in every nation. It lands within the orthodox evangelical protestant faith tradition. The foundational values are lordship, evangelism, discipleship, leadership, and family.

Every Nation Campus UBC

Every Nation Campus (ENC) UBC is passionate about walking in the way of Jesus, practicing spiritual disciplines, and contemplating the big questions of life from a Christian perspective such as, what is the meaning of life? Does God exist? Do all religions lead to God? Why is there evil? Is there life after death?

About Jonathan Hers

Every Nation Chaplain, Jonathan Hers

During his undergrad, Jonathan came face to face with some big existential questions such as, who am I? Who is God? Why am I here? What is my purpose? It was a critical time for his walk with God and Christian maturity. It was during those years he decided to take his faith seriously and was discipled by older Christian mentors. His university years were formative, which inspired him to create spaces for others to do the hard work of spiritual formation.

As the Every Nation Chaplain, Jonathan walks with students who are wanting to investigate existential and faith-centered questions, eager to learn how to read the Bible contextually, and curious to discover what apprenticeship under the person of Jesus looks like.

Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Columbia Bible College as well as a Certificate of Youth Work from Lifeteams School of Youth Outreach. He is currently enrolled in a Master of Arts program in Counselling Psychology (MACP) at Yorkville University.

You can contact Jonathan by emailing jghers@gmail.com, and by calling or texting him at 778 554 5967.
