About the Pentecostal Church

The Pentecostal Church is found within the mainstream of orthodox evangelical protestant faith. As a movement, the church is just over 100 years old. While Pentecostals emphasize the physical expression of God's inner dwelling through spiritual and supernatural gifts, we are also known for our ministry to the fringes of society, cultural diversity and passion for talking about God to others.

University Christian Ministries at UBC

At UBC, the Pentecostal ministry is made up of more than just Pentecostals. Virtually every Christian denomination has been represented in our community at one time or another. Through the Pentecostal Chaplaincy, we sponsor a multi-denominational Christian student group on campus. We are a community who desires to walk alongside students through the contours of university life, and we hope to be a place where students can discover what it means to integrate what you learn in the classroom with the Christian faith.

University Christian Ministries (UCM) at UBC is a student community passionate about Christ, excited about His transforming power at work in our lives, and open to God’s life-changing presence through the Holy Spirit.
