Scholarships are available for female-identifying students on the Vancouver campus enrolled in part-time studies for both the previous and upcoming Winter Sessions. Winter Session is from September to April.
About the awards
Eligibility requirements
You must meet all of the following requirements to apply:
Undergraduate students
- You must be registered in 23 credits or less in the upcoming Winter Session.
- You must have been studying part-time during the past academic year.
Graduate students
- You must be paying part-time fees in the upcoming Winter Session.
- You must have been studying part-time during the past academic year.
Exceptions
- Your courses cannot predominantly use Credit/D/Fail grading.
- Eligibility for Non-Degree Studies students is considered on a case-by-case basis.
How to apply
Detailed instructions are provided on the application form, but before you start your application, make sure you complete the following:
- Read through the award descriptions to view eligibility criteria.
- If you were not a UBC student in the 2021/22 Winter Session, you will be required to provide a copy of your official transcript for the 2021/22 academic year. The transcript can be uploaded with your application.
- You will also need to prepare a letter detailing your educational goals, objectives, and financial need.
