Your pre-university checklist

Get ready for your first year at UBC.

  1. Apply online for your UBCcard and get your monthly U-Pass transit pass.
  2. Find out what UBC classes and grading are like.
  3. Understand your student health insurance details.
  4. Get a Social Insurance Number (SIN) if you plan to work or if you receive an award.
  5. Kick off your school year with UBC orientations.
