UX Lab

We do user research to improve Student Services websites and more.

About the UX Lab

What is user experience?

User Experience (UX) considers all aspects of the user’s interactions with a company, service or product. In UBC’s case, this means our websites, systems, and applications.

What's the UX Lab?

The UX Lab team is part of UBC Student Communications Services. We run user research and usability testing to ensure students, faculty, staff, or the general public can navigate our digital communications and services easily and effectively.

Participate in our studies

We run studies with students on campus or online through questionnaires, in-person testing, and user interviews.

Depending on the study and length of the test, you can get freebies like chocolate bars or UBC Food Services gift cards. Join our mailing list to get notified about these opportunities.
