Get the most out of UBC Library

UBC Library is the second largest research library in Canada, with 8 branches – each dedicated to a different discipline, and 2 off-campus locations.

Your student ID card is your Library card, giving you access to more than 7 million items in their collection, including e-books, DVDs, online journals, books and more.

Study in one of hundreds of silent and group study spaces, use the free PC and Mac computers and software, and borrow technology such as laptops, LCD projectors, and even Arduino kits for your projects! When the school year begins, drop by the Chapman Learning Commons for drop-in peer-to-peer tutoring, writing support, and academic coaching, or start your assignments with the library’s subject-specific Research Guides.
