David NAIRNE Memorial Scholarship

Scholarships totalling $5,050 have been endowed by the family, friends and colleagues of David Nairne (B.A.Sc.1964), founder of David Nairne and Associates Ltd., who for over thirty years was dedicated to working with First Nations communities throughout B.C. and Yukon. The awards are given to undergraduate or graduate Aboriginal students in Civil Engineering, Architecture and /or the School of Community and Regional Planning, with a preference for those in Civil Engineering. They are made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Applied Science and, where appropriate, the Faculty of Arts, in consultation with the First Nations House of Learning and, in the case of graduate students, in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
