Fortinet Award in Cyber Security

Awards totalling $3,500 have been made available annually through a gift from Fortinet for outstanding third- and fourth-year undergraduate students in Computer Engineering who have demonstrated an interest in cyber security, networking security, or software security. Preference will be given to students who are from communities that have been historically, persistently, and systemically marginalized. Founded in 2000 and based in Sunnyvale, California, Fortinet is a network security company that specializes in developing and building security processing unit technology, and uses artificial intelligence and machine learning systems to counter security threats to customers. The awards are made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Applied Science.
