MOTION Metrics/ICICS Graduate Scholarship

Award descriptionA $5,000 scholarship is offered by Motion Metrics International to a Master or PhD student who is entering their second year of study. The graduate student must be supervised by a faculty member of the Institute of Computing, Information and Cognitive Systems (ICICS) at the University of British Columbia, where Motion Metrics was incubated in 2000. Preference is given to students who have demonstrated excellence in multidisciplinary, application-orientated research and who wish to advance the area through continued study. The awards are made on the recommendation of ICICS and the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
