Goldcorp Women in Mining Engineering Award

A $20,000 award is offered annually by Goldcorp to a female student enrolled in the Bachelor of Applied Science program in Mining Engineering. The recipient of this award will demonstrate academic excellence, disruptive thinking, and leadership skills inspiring the next generation of global mining innovators. Goldcorp is a senior gold producer based out of Vancouver. The company has six mines and four development projects, employing over 15,000 people across the Americas. The award is made on the recommendation of the head of the Department of Mining Engineering.
