Michael AMES Scholarship in Museum Studies

A scholarship of $4,750 has been endowed by the volunteers of the Museum of Anthropology Shop and friends in honour of Dr. Michael Ames, Director of the Museum from 1974 to 1997. The award is offered to a student in Museum Studies on the recommendation of the Department of Anthropology, in consultation with the Museum of Anthropology. In the case of a graduate student, the award is also made in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
