KONARAK Prize in South Asian Studies

Award descriptionA $750 prize has been endowed to promote excellence in South Asian studies. It is made, on the recommendation of the Head of the Department of Asian Studies, to a student who completes a major in South Asian studies with excellence or to a promising graduate student in South Asian studies. It may be withheld if no suitable candidate is available.
