Jaswant S. BERAR and Sham Kour Berar Memorial Scholarship

Award descriptionA $1,600 scholarship has been established by Ab, Sodi and Vic Berar in memory of their parents. The award is made on the recommendation of the Department of Asian Studies to a student demonstrating proficiency in the study of Sikh scriptures, Sikh history, Punjabi language and Punjabi literature.
