Eric Eich Scholarship in Psychology

Award descriptionScholarships totalling $500 have been made available annually by the Department of Psychology, in honor of Dr. Eric Eich, for outstanding Bachelor of Arts students of Psychology in their graduating year. Dr. Eich, a former Department Head of the UBC Department of Psychology, is a Distinguished University Scholar and Professor Emeritus who has received numerous awards for his contributions to research and teaching. For six years, he served as a member of the National Academy of Science's Committee on Techniques for Enhancement of Human Performance and was appointed to the Editorial Board of Psychological Science in 2007. The awards are made on the recommendation of the Department of Psychology
