Dorothy SOMERSET Memorial Scholarship in Theatre
In honour of Dorothy Somerset, B.A., LL.D., founder and first Head of the Department of Theatre and Film at the University of British Columbia, a $4,800 scholarship has been endowed by her family, friends and associates. This scholarship gives recognition to her devoted service and outstanding contributions to the life and quality of amateur and professional theatre in Vancouver, British Columbia, and in Canada. It is awarded to a student at the graduate level in the Department of Theatre and Film at the University.
